Women in Aviation Scholarships

Women in Aviation International is an organization dedicated to increasing the number of women involved in all aspects of aviation and aerospace. As an international nonprofit organization, WIA provides networking, education, mentoring, and scholarship opportunities for careers in aviation and aerospace.

Our club works with the Northern California Aerospace Initiative (NCAI) to provide local students with the opportunity to attend the Women In Aviation International Conference. This competitive award is available to female students, grades 9-12, in the Northern California region who are pursuing a career in the aviation or aerospace Industry.

Involvement in the committee consists of a committee chair and interested club members.   The committee chair coordinates with the NCAI Director for the scholarships for local students and attends the scholarship event.
