Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. The cash award may be used for anything that is needed, such as child care costs, transportation needs, books, and tuition expenses; it’s up to the recipient of the cash award.

SI Marysville-Yuba City provides cash awards from $1,0000 up to $5,000 annually to local women. Applicants may apply online starting in August. The last day to apply is November 15th. The applications are reviewed by local women in the community and awarded at the ‘Day for Women’ event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, the first weekend in March.

Involvement in this committee consists of a committee chair and interested club members who will advertise the grant opportunity, seek qualified applicants, obtain reviewers for the applications, communication with applicants, and finally coordination of attendance at the March Day for Women event.
