Soroptimist’s Live Your Dream Awards program provides financial support to women who are working to support themselves and their families while pursuing education. The program helps remove barriers and create pathways to long-term stability and economic empowerment.

Eligible applicants may apply between August 1 and November 15. Recipients have the opportunity to receive up to $2,500 to help offset costs such as tuition, books, transportation, or childcare—allowing them to focus on achieving their educational and career goals.​

Local Program Details

​

Soroptimist of Marysville-Yuba City provides cash awards ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 annually to local women who are working to improve their lives through education.

​

Applications open in August and must be submitted by November 15. Applications are reviewed by local women in the community, and award recipients are recognized at the annual Day for Women event, held the first weekend in March at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.

Membership & Involvement

​

This program is led by Soroptimist members who support outreach, application review, and event coordination. Members help promote the award, connect with potential applicants, coordinate the review process, communicate with applicants, and present the award at the Day for Women event the first weekend in March.
