Human Trafficking
Awareness & Prevention
Supporting the safety, dignity, and empowerment of women and girls in our community through education, awareness, and partnership.
Preventing Exploitation. Empowering Girls.
Working collaboratively with local agencies and community partners—including Casa de Esperanza—the Human Trafficking Awareness Committee coordinates efforts to prevent and respond to human trafficking. By leveraging community resources and partnerships, the committee helps strengthen support for individuals impacted by sexual and labor exploitation while increasing awareness across the Yuba-Sutter region.
The committee is committed to educating the public, reducing vulnerability, and promoting community-wide responsibility in recognizing and responding to exploitation.
