Michele Blake first joined Soroptimist of Marysville-Yuba City in 2014. She has held the positions of President 2020-2021, President Elect 2019-2020, and Vice-President 2018-2019.

Michele is currently the Executive Director of the Sutter County Children & Families Commission and serves as the Chairwoman of the Yuba City Planning Commission. She hold a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts from California State University, Chico. Michele is currently pursuing her doctorate from University of Southern California.

Michele was born and raised in the Yuba-Sutter area...she is a true local girl! She is happy to raise her family in this community, as well. Her son, Gannon and daugther, Mila both attend local public schools and are involved in many local community activies (football, baseball, gymnastics, cheerleading) that keep her quite busy. Michele's hobbies include: dancing, reading, hiking and spending precious "down-time" with her family.
